News: UNKLE’s James Lavelle talks about ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’

Twilight: EclipseLast week, we reported that Sia and Metric’s Emily Haines had gone on the record about their experiences writing and recording for the ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack.

Now, UNKLE‘s James Lavelle has shared his thoughts about appearing on the all-star soundtrack, which also features the likes of Vampire Weekend, Muse, Florence & The Machine, The Black Keys, Beck, Bat For Lashes, Band Of Horses, and more!

“My twelve year old daughter is a huge fan of the Twilight films, so having a track in the new movie means that at long last I will have some sort of credibility in her eyes,” said James. “Sadly I don’t think it will last for long!”

UNKLE’s appearance on the ‘Twilight: Eclipse’ OST follows an incredible few months for the duo, surrounding the release of their latest album, ‘Where Did The Night Fall’.

First they leaked teaser track, “Caged Bird (feat. Katrina Ford)”, before releasing the provocative, NSFW video for lead single, “Follow Me Down”. And just earlier this week, they released a freely downloadable remix of “Follow Me Down” by New York electronic duo, The Golden Filter.

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ OST is out June.
