UNKLECelebrating the release of their fourth full-length ‘Where Did The Night Fall’, UNKLE have released a 17 minute short film trilogy, written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams.

Soundtracked by UNKLE’s tracks “Caged Bird”, “The Runaway” and “Another Night Out”, the films document the story of a passionate, young Romanian couple on their path to a better life who will do just about anything to get there.

The film will be screening at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival on Sunday 22nd August, as part of the Mini Muff Session #2 short film program. For more info, head to MUFF’s website.

The film is also available to stream on UNKLE’s Vimeo, which you can check out below.

“I was asked if I would do some videos to music from their latest album,” says writer/director Paul Andrew Williams, “and after sitting down with James [Lavelle] and listening to it together, it was clear that every track had a really strong journey and there were definite themes that we both felt were prevalent.”
