Stream: Sia chats about ARIA Awards, Recovery and Pop Stardom!
With a massive six ARIA nominations for her latest album ‘We Are Born’, 2010 has been a busy year for Sia.
In the past week the Adelaide-born singer has been chatting with Merrick, Dools and Ricki-Lee from Nova FM and also JJJ breakfast show hosts Tom and Alex about the album’s success and the discovery that her health problems were due to Grave’s disease.
“It’s like an auto-immune disease where your thyroid becomes over-active. Usually your thyroid will burn itself out and then you’ll become like hypo-thyroidal which makes you very lethargic and sluggish and fat,” she shared with Nova FM
“It was making me very very crazy and I thought I had a panic disorder but I didn’t – I had Graves disease. I checked myself into the nut-house and everything and then I realised that I’m not crazy – I’m sick, with a real disease.”
