MP3: Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) – ‘Three Songs’ (FREE EP)

Robin Pecknold

As we drool with anticipation for Fleet Foxes forthcoming album (Well, not us actually… We’ve already heard it… It’s awesome), the group’s frontman Robin Pecknold has shown up on Twitter bearing some tasty appetizers.

“So, I recorded three acoustic songs a couple weeks ago in LA with my friend Noah. One is a duet with my friend Ed Droste from the amazing band Grizzly Bear, one is just a new solo jam, and one is a cover. These aren’t Fleet Foxes songs, but I didn’t know where else to disseminate it. Pretty mellow jams.”Robin Pecknold, Fleet Foxes

We’d tell you more, but these little gems came as much of a surprise to us as they are to you. One’s even a collaboration with Ed Droste from longtime Inertia faves, Grizzly Bear. It’s an all-star folk-out is what it is.
