Tour: Passenger announces national shows with Jackson McLaren and Inland Sea

PassengerPassenger (aka Mike Rosenberg) will soon begin his last Australian tour for 2011. He will be joined by Victorian solo artist Jackson Mclaren on all dates, while Brisbane’s Inland Sea will play all East Coast shows.

The tour follows the release of Passenger’s new single, “Rivers”. Taken from his 2010 critically acclaimed album ‘Flight Of The Crow’, which features collaborations with such artists as Josh Pyke, Boy and Bear, Katie Noonan and Kate Miller Heidke, “Rivers” features singer songwriter Lior on vocals.

The dates are as follows:
Adelaide – April 28th @ Jive
Scarborough – April 29th @ Indy Bar
Fremantle – April 30th @ Norfolk Basement
Melbourne – May 5th @ East Brunswick Club
Brisbane – May 6th @ The Zoo
Sydney – May 7th @ Oxford Arts Factory

Having shared stages with the likes of The Hold Steady, Kate Nash and Jools Holland, Rosenberg is one of the UK’s most talked about up-and-coming songwriters. Following Passenger’s debut with ‘Wicked Man’s Rest’ in 2007, a self-released follow-up ‘Wide Eyes Blind Love’ in 2009 and a further album ‘Divers & Submarines’ in the early part of 2010, ‘Flight Of The Crow’ proves he is also one of the most prolific.

“Flight Of The Crow” is out now through Inertia.
