Watch: The Walkmen perform “We Can’t Be Beat” on the streets of Paris

The WalkmenFive-piece New York rock band The Walkmen have recorded a takeaway show for French video crew La Blogotheque as part of Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris.

The Walkmen took to the streets of central Paris to perform an acoustic rendition of “We Can’t Be Beat”, from their album ‘Heaven’. The performance is the first of five Take Away Shows, presented by La Blogotheque and Pitchfork.tv, in association with Converse.

‘Heaven’ is the follow up to 2010′s ‘Lisbon’ and was recorded with admired indie rock producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Band Of Horses) at his Seattle-area studio in the woods. The album also features guest vocals by Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold on four of the songs.
