Watch: Sharon Van Etten performs on Ch 7′s Sunrise

Sharon Van EttenHaving just finished touring Australia and playing the Sydney Festival this week, US singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten appeared on Channel 7′s Sunrise show to perform “Give Out”, a track from her current album ‘Tramp’.

Over the course of releasing two full-length album, Van Etten has been celebrated by fans and critics alike for her raw mastery in writing introspective songs with direct honesty and feeling. Her most recent album, ‘Tramp’, is out now on indie rock label Jagjaguwar, where she joins a roster including Bon Iver, Okkervil River, Black Mountain and Dinosaur Jr.

A consistent touring force, she has opened the 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival, headlined her own tour and shared the stage with Junip in the U.S., The National overseas, and played select shows with Iron & Wine, as well as collaborating with Justin Vernon and Megafaun for the Songs of the South project. Sharon also recently took out The Fly’s ‘Album of the Year’ with her highly praised record ‘Tramp’.
