News: Hermitude win Coopers AMP/Australian Music Prize for 2013!

Hermitude have taken out this years AMP Award beating out 9 other finalists and pocketing $30,000!

Scott Murphy, director and founder of the AMP commented “this prize celebrates great Australian music and in particular originality – Hermitude is certainly original, distinctive and very deserving of The Coopers AMP.”

Urthboy (Smokey’s Haunt)

It was interesting to see that Elefant Traks, label home for Hermitude also had another front runner with Urthboy also nominated for the prize!
