Polica to drop sophomore album ‘Shulamith’ + new “Tiff” remix!
Following up the success of their debut album ‘Give You the Ghost‘, American pop outfit Poliça are set to drop ‘Shulamith’ on the 18th October.
Having received rave reviews on their debut LP from Pitchfork, NME, Rolling Stone and Triple J and their phenomenal live shows as part of Laneway Festival and Coachella earlier this year, the anticipation for their sophomore release is incredibly high.
Last month the band unveiled the graphic music video for the album’s first single “Tiff”. Directed by Nabil Elderkin (the Australian behind clips from the likes of Frank Ocean, James Blake and Kanye West), ‘Tiff‘ features guest vocals from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. After previously stating “They’re the best band I’ve ever heard,” it’s no surprise the folk singer jumped at the chance to work with lead singer Channy Leaneagh.
Along with the clip, the band has revealed the cover art for ‘Shulamith’ as well as a re-envisioned version of “Tiff” helmed by Drake-collaborator and producer behind The Weeknd, Doc McKinney.
