Stream Volcano Choir’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Repave’

Volcano ChoirWisconsin band Volcano Choir‘s highly anticipated new album ‘Repave’ is available for streaming now on Rdio until its release on Friday 30th August.

Volcano Choir features Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Collections of Colonies of Bees. The band recorded ‘Repave’ over the past three years at the Fall Creek, Wisconsin studio April Base.

Inclusive of new singles “Byegone” and “Comrade”, ‘Repave’ focuses on the bond between the members of Volcano Choir, how their friendships were fortified over the years-long process of writing and recording. There is an openness to this work that won’t be taken for granted. Real, moving tales of change, sadness, loss and truth grace the wordplay of these tracks, forming an account of life between the fringes of poetry and reality.

The sound of Volcano Choir’s collaboration is in lockstep – writing together in real time, providing each other feedback face-to-face and occupying live stages in front of fans.
