Sub Pop Announces Lyla Foy’s Debut Album

English songwriter/producer Lyla Foy will be releasing her smashing debut full-length album, ‘Mirrors the Sky’. The album features the addictive single “Feather Tongue” alongside highlights “Easy” and “I Only”.

Lyla Foy is no amateur to the music scene, having gained a solid following under the Wall moniker through her wonderfully received EP’s and singles. On a spur of the moment decision to stay home and write and following several years of various collaborations, Foy begun focusing her creative energy on her solo project in early 2012. Her musical ability is both unique and gripping, being featured by the likes of Pitchfork and Vogue.

With soft bleeping synths paired nicely with Foy’s smoky vocals, we can’t wait for this release.

‘Mirrors the Sky’ is out 21st March 2014 on Sub Pop through Inertia.
