See A Sneak Peak Of Ball Park Music’s Fantastic New Album ‘Puddinghead’

Supposedly a ‘Puddinghead’ is a Shakespearean insult offered to “someone who manages to mess up even the most basic tasks…”. However, despite the name of their new album, this is the complete opposite to Ball Park Music, the Brisbane indie-pop group known for turning basic pop rhythms into something extraordinary. Following up from a successful few years that saw them gain two J-Award nominations for ‘Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs’ and ‘Museum’ (with a #9 Aria placement) and a massive run of tours including Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Southbound and Big Day Out. Their latest effort, ‘Puddinghead’ was recorded in a 70s fibro shack in Brisbane  giving them complete control over the recording process. Added to this they had Grammy-nominated producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, The Kooks, Phoenix, Air and M83) in to help.

The announcement includes brand new single “She Only Loves Me When I’m There” and a huge national tour from 15th March – 3rd of May. You can check out the teaser video for the album below.

‘Puddinghead’ will be released on Friday 4th April 2014 via Stop Start and Inertia
