New signing to the mighty MATADOR label! (INTERPOL, CAT POWER) \'Aghast Agape\' is the debut four track EP from the young post-punk influenced New York three-piece PROSAICS. Prosaics are a group who are equal parts dissonance and melody, propulsive rhythms, boiling point bass, convulsive guitars and graceful vocals.
Referencing the past, making it their own and bringing it bang up to date, this EP is a perfect example of their shunting, staccatoed wall of sound.
