Following the highly successful Bugged Out releases by FELIX DA HOUSECAT, and a \'Suck My Deck\' mix by IVAN SMAGGHE, the series continues with the debut 2CD mix from one of the most unique British DJs around today EROL ALKAN.
Kicking off with an excerpt from DEEP PURPLE\'s \"Hush\" to grab your attention and then straight into a rockin\' dub of SOULWAX\'s \"E Talking\". It features charismatic, electro from STEVE BUG, DJ T and ROMAIN FLUGAL (his huge club hit \"Geht Noch\") an exclusive demo track from TIGA and Erol\'s own reedit of ALTER EGO\'s monster chart hit \"Rocker\". There are a couple of Erol\'s special reedits that have been tearing the roof off at recent Bugged Out\'s. SIMIAN\'s shouted accapella from \"Never Be Alone\" rides over SUPERDISCOUNT\'s bassfuelled \"Fast Track\" and his reedit of JOSH WINK\'s legendary \"Higher States of Consciousness\" peaks with a little help from THE RAPTURE. In stark contrast, his Bugged In Selection is a late night trip through Erol\'s huge, diverse record collection. The place in his heart for rock\'n\'roll and psychedelia is well known as Erol is also the DJ and promoter of the legendary Trash club in London and new psychedelic night Beyond The Wizard\'s Sleeve. To represent the two very distinct sounds, the CD will have 2 \"front\" covers, so they can be displayed as if they were two separate albums. With CD1 and CD2 coming from 2 very different angles, it should appeal to a wide range of music fans. Erol\'s profile has been consistently growing, with a strong fanbase throughout Europe, where he regularly plays high profile gigs on the similar circuit as Tiga, 2 MANY DJS, JAMES MURPHY, GLIMMER TWINS, etc. His talents as a remixer has also raised his profile, emixing ALTER EGO, BLOC PARTY, and CHEMICAL BROTHERS to name but a few.
