Comedian, JIMEOIN’s latest feature film ‘The Extra’, is a romantic comedy about a normal Joe who sees movie stars getting money and girls and says \"Why not me?\" He has come to the big city determined to change his own fortunes. He is willing to give anything a go to get there.! The soundtrack album to ‘The Extra’ consists of two CDs – “the songs” and “the score”.
ROGUE TRADERS, ROCKET SCIENCE, DAVE & THE EXTRAS, GOLDENHORSE and INFUSION all provide tracks for the first disc. ROGER MASON composed the gorgeous score for the film, which is included on the second disc. “Ballroom Blitz” by DAVE & THE EXTRAS is a whacked-out re-make of the much loved 70s classic. Vocal duties are handled with aplomb by DAVE GLEESON (SCREAMING JETS). ROCKET SCIENCE deliver a blistering take on the RICHARD HELL & THE VOIDOIDS seminal punk classic, “Blank Generation”. It will be the first track to be serviced to TRIPLE J and community radio.
