Two of Berlin\'s most innovative electronic musicians have joined forces to produce this unique and vibrant album. Renowned solo artist BARBARA MORGENSTERN has been with MONIKA ENTERPRISE since it started, and this is her fourth full length album for the label. ROBERT LIPPOK is the driving force behind pioneering electronic band TO ROCOCO ROT. He already released one album \'Falling into Komëit\' on Monika last year (Monika47cd). The direction of this record is brave and futuristic. There is multitude of instrumentation, rhythms and sounds. With warm inter layered pianos, wah wah guitars as well as classical, whirring electronics and minimalist percussion. Emotionally, the album is positive and uplifting. Relaxing ambience, mixed with roaring electronics creating an exciting and contemplative mood. The music is for the most part instrumental with the exception of two guest vocals. London based Japanese singer MIEKO SHIMIZO aka APACHE 61 features on \'Kaitusburi\' and DAMON AARON (TELEFON TEL AVIV) adds his sweet soul voice to \"If The Day Remains Unspoken For\". This is a collaboration in the best sense as both artists have met on a middle ground between their individual styles. Refreshingly they dispense almost entirely with any conventional pop structures in favour of a leftfield experimental feel. THE WIRE: \"Tesri is almost impossibly perfect, a delicious merger of the sly electro twitchery for which Lippok is renowned with To Rococo Rot and the wistful romanticism of Morgenstern\'s piano and keyboard work... reveal rich new levels of detail every time the disc is played.\"
