The previous Broken Horse release, ANDREW MORGAN’s ‘Misadventures in Radiology’ (recorded at ELLIOTT SMITH’s studio in LA) made #49 in UNCUT’s top 70 albums of 2004.
> CUB COUNTRY is the songwriting project of Salt Lake City native and now Chapel Hill resident JEREMY CHATELAIN, and is essential for fans of early WILCO, WHISKEYTOWN, MY MORNING JACKET and RYAN ADAMS. ‘Stay Poor, Stay Happy’ unveils ten more tales that continue in the incredible tradition of Americana that Jeremy has spoken of his love for in the past years.
> ‘Stay Poor, Stay Happy’ showcases Jeremy’s undeniable songwriting / musical talent and serves as a solid follow-up to 2002’s debut ‘High Uinta High’. The album was mixed by BRIAN PAULSON (of prior Wilco, JAYHAWKS and SON VOLT projects). . Expect killer support from radio & reviews alike.
