> MUTE release a brandnew compilation of KRAFTWERK covers, \'Trans Slovenia Express Vol.2\'. This is the follow up to 1994\'s critically acclaimed \'Trans Slovenia Express\' and includes versions of Kraftwerk songs by Slovenian artists including LAIBACH.
> \'Trans Slovenia Express\' includes fourteen remakes of songs by the first mainstream electronic band, Kraftwerk the pioneers of their genre. Anyone who knows a little bit about Kraftwerk will be familiar with their classic \'Trans Europe Express\' album (1977). On \'Trans Slovenia Express Vol. 2\', Kraftwerk classics are reinterpreted by artists from Slovenia. Some of the artists are newcomers, others have been around since the Kraftwerk days for example the industrial pioneers Laibach who regularly quote Kraftwerk as one of their key influences.
