- "Roger" is the 4th VOOM VOOM EP of the debut album 'Peng
Peng'. With a straightforward bassline, the first bar leads right onto the
dancefloor, with a boogie beat, funky wah wah, deep strings & finally
the trademark vocoder voice.
- The B-Side opens with "Keep The Drums
Out". It's a noisy but cool 125 BPM groove that glitters with a sci-fi-esque
atmosphere. The atmospheric "Urwald" ("Urwald" = "virgin
forest"). Natural sounds like a rippling stream, singing birds and a
cuckoo's cry are contrasted with a distorted electronic snare drum, delay, & free-floating
sound fragments that twirl around voluptuous chords.
