Never Learn To Cry
Too Pure
INDIE
- Comprising of sisters Jennifer (vocals, guitar) and Laura Rogers (drums,
backing vocals) as well as Miyuki Furtado (vocals, bass and honorary member
of the Rogers clan), The Rogers Sisters are fast staking a claim to being
one of the most exciting bands around.
- You can certainly hear that they were brought up on, and able to draw
from, such a rich diet of influences - Prince, ESG, Talking Heads, 80's US
stadium rock.
- Their new album, 'The Invisible Deck', is also their debut album for
Too Pure. Confidence is riding high after their successful year last and
it shows.
- 'Never Learn To Cry' sees Jen taking the lead on vocals this time
round amid their backdrop of spikey guitars, phat bass lines and crashing
drums, it's a great indication as to just how good their upcoming new album,
'The Invisible Deck' is.
