A Bugged Out Mix
Resist Music
ELECTRO
- Following her highly successful 'Radio Caroline' mix released in 2002
and her 'Live at Sonar' album, superstar DJ MISS KITTIN releases the 2CD
'A Bugged Out Mix' on RESIST.
- The first disc 'Bugged Out Mix' she has subtitled her "Perfect
Night" and it is representative of her current peak time club style.
Her opening acapellas announce her arrival at the decks and here she has
used PRINCESS SUPERSTAR's "Perfect" before diving into brand spanking
new and classic underground techno with CAJMERE's "Percolator",
ADAM BEYER's "Walking Contradiction", and DREXCIYA's "Lost
Vessel".
- There are a few surprises and rarities sprinkled throughout; vintage
CHEMICAL BROTHERS, hardcore rave anthem "Don't Go" by AWESOME 3
and SQUAREPUSHER's "My Red Hot Car".
- On disc two, the 'Bugged In Mix' is her "Perfect Day" where
she weaves through her record collection creating a lush soundtrack from
ambient classics, minimal moments of beauty and haunting vocal tracks like
the TWO LONE SWORDSMEN mix of SAINT ETIENNE's "Heart Failed" and
VILLALOBOS and CASSY LEE's "Easy Lee". Also amongst her favourite
post-club listens is a hard to find APHEX TWIN mix of CURVE's "Falling
Free".
- Contemporary, stylish and exciting - If you ever desired to capture
and bottle up the Miss Kittin experience then this is it.
