• It all started in 2003 - BE YOUR OWN PET played local freak scenes and small house parties. They destroyed and dominated 2004's CMJ in New York and South By Southwest. XL were in attendance, tongues dripping with rock juice. Next move was to record their eponymous LP and the band nominated the awesome STEVE MCDONALD of REDD KROSS fame to man the controls. What has blown forth is a street party of artful punk and beauty. This record flat out destroys, a revolution jam for 2006.
