CD1 - CHRISTIAN "KON" TAYLOR and "AMIR" ABDULLAH are two of the world's most respected crate diggers. Their 'On Track' tapes of beats and samples have been the definitive compilations of their kind for the past decade and are in hot demand worldwide. Their diggin' tales are the stuff of legend, providing beats to heavyweight hip-hop labels and producers getting props from the likes of PETE ROCK, THE ROOTS, DILATED PEOPLES etc.
CD2 - Is by Japanese producer DJ Muro... who has been releasing his 'King of Diggin' mix-tapes for years, and is without a doubt Japan's resident vinyl king. With a collection in excess of 100,000 records, he rents a separate apartment in Tokyo (which ain't cheap) just to house his collection. His BLUE NOTE and STONES THROW compilations as well as his 'Super Disco Breaks' (w' DIMITRI FROM PARIS) have together sold well over 50,000 copies.
