- After making his name as part of the "Wu Tang of drum & bass",
the legendary BAD COMPANY, DJ FRESH aka FRESH BC joined forces with fellow
heavy hitter ADAM F and formed arguably the world's biggest drum & bass
label right now, BREAKBEAT KAOS. After a string of big 12"s they released
the now huge debut album PENDULUM, 'Hold Your Colour'. Now comes his debut
artist album and only the second artist release on the label.
- 'Escape..' is a corker of an album and covers every shade of D&B,
from jazzy to tear out to deeper styles with influences coming from hip hop,
electro, jazz, reggae and even metal! The response to the album in the UK
dance & D&B media has been incredible, with all naming this as the
breakout d&b album of 2006.
- On top of that it also has an incredible list of guest stars. MARY BYKER
of APOLLO 440 on "Nervous", top notch D&B MCs DARRISON & SINGING
FATS, a very rare guest appearance from PENDULUM on "Babylon Rising",
DJ SHADOW collaborates on the amazing "Closer", and even the PET
SHOP BOYS' NEIL TENNANT sings on the introspective closer, "Throw".
