PIGEON JOHN started at The Good Life, home of the West Coast underground hip hop scene in L.A. The boot camp for artists like FREESTYLE FELLOWSHIP, KURUPT, THE PHARCYDE, BUSDRIVER and BLACK EYED PEAS.
Pigeon John is a maverick of the West Coast scene, regularly touring with the likes of MATSIYAHU, ACEYALONE, BLACKALICIOUS, FATLIP and TREY (PHARCYDE) DIGABLE PLANETS and J5. Additionally he is also a soloist with L.A. Symphony.
The Australian Pigeon John tour is scheduled for late 2006.
In this project, he blends melody with rhythm, heartbreak with hip hop, and washes away stereotypes. His songs tie the ear down and enrapture the audience from start to finish.
This album features guest artists such as RJD2, DJ RHETTMATIC (BEAT JUNKIES), J-LIVE, BROTHER ALI and has executive production by non other than Lyrics Born!
The single ''Higher?!" has already been added to High Rotation on TRIPLE J + Medium on FBi, and is the 'playout' tune on 'SPORTS TONIGHT' on CHANNEL 10.
