EVER RECORDS are overwhelmed to announce they have signed the majestic CYANN & BEN. The Paris based four piece will release their debut, 'The Sunny Morning EP' contains four brand new tracks which make absolutely no concession to what is expected of them.
"Sunny Morning", featuring guest vocals from GREG WEEKS (ESPERS), is a seven minute plus voyage from sleepy-eyed slumber to wide-eyed wonder. 'Let It Play' is a concise three minute belter that bobs and weaves towards its violent conclusion like a champion boxer. 'Damaged Memories' is a bucolic, atmospheric track that highlights the band's accomplished sense of dynamics. 'Room J13' is a freeform jam full of tension and drama.
Though they have released two albums in Europe on the sadly dormant label GOOOM (former home to M83), distribution has been limited. Despite this, they have built up a reputation for fierce live performances, and the forthcoming release of their third album (EVER04CD) should see them step out of the darkest recesses of the French underground into the limelight.
