Sounding like a slightly updated version of the MASSIVE ATTACK classics 'Protection' and companion piece 'No Protection' with shades of some of the darker corners of the work of TRICKY comes the brooding masterpiece that is 'The World Is Gone' from UK outfit VARIOUS.
Following a string of vinyl only singles (including the shortly to be locally released track "Closer") Various have already been heavily acclaimed by the overseas music press.
Call it Dubstep, Future-Folk, Electro-Soul or whatever two already existing genres you can weld together, it matters not - VARIOUS are possibly one of the most exciting Electronic outfits to have emerged in years.
