Ensemble

INDIE
The first album in over five years from OLIVER ALARY's ENSEMBLE, the last being the REPHLEX debut, 'Sketchbook Proposals'. That album gained a dedicated and loyal audience, and saw Olivier gain a reputation for the quality of his production & sound work. He has since also worked closely with BJORK - co-writing, collaborating and remixing her work.
Inspired by the likes of PHIL SPECTOR and PHAROAH SANDERS amongst others, 'Ensemble' recalls 'Loveless' MY BLOODY VALENTINE. An organic integration of electronic and acoustic elements, immense walls of sound.
Featuring guest appearances from the likes of CHAN MARSHALL (CAT POWER), LOU BARLOW (SEBADOH/DINOSAUR JNR), ADAM PIERCE (MUM/MICE PARADE). But this album's real strength lies in the fact that it adds up to much more than just a sum of it's parts.
XLR8R "Ensemble has crossed the atmospheric folk threshold with some bittersweet love songs that will stick to your heart."... URB "It is a soaring, breathy, majestic affair. An ornately detailed work that heralds to lusher movements in music like early 4AD and Creation Records.
'Disown, Delete' is also available as a 7" (7FAT24).
