DRUMSOUND & SIMON 'BASSLINE' SMITH'S label TECHNIQUE has been fast gaining momentum, becoming fixtures within the drum & bass hierarchy, and now after thirty five fine twelve inch releases they drop their first ever mix CD - 'Street Technique'.
Across two CDs (one mixed, the other unmixed) they gather a killer collection of exclusive tracks from many labels (not just TECHNIQUE) and have pulled in some heavyweight names, just for this comp: DJ FRESH, RONI SIZE, J MAJIK & WICKAMAN and of course DRUMSOUND & BASSLINE SMITH themselves!
But the real strongpoint of this mix is that TECHNIQUE have kept a very close eye on the Australian D&B scene and have tracks from two local acts: Adelaide's SKYVER & D JON (who have now released four greats twelves on TECHNIQUE and it's sister label WORLDWIDE AUDIO) and Perth's PHETSTA (half of 'controversial' live act BAD ROBOT), who has long been championed by PENDULUM.
Tracks from this comp have already been getting rewound in the sets of ANDY C, HYPE, FABIO, GROOVERIDER, PENDULUM, NICKY BLACKMARKET and BRYAN G.
