Ned travels through a vast array of warm and friendly sounds on this album, representing a nu-folk movement that has been bubbling under Australia's surface for quite some time.

Ned admits the influence of LEONARD COHEN, ROBERT WYATT and CAT POWER. But other than that you can hear so much more, if you're a fan of music with a real intimate quality, artists like KINGSBURY MANX, NICK DRAKE, BERT JANSCH, JAMES YORKSTON or even HARRY NILSON then this is music that you will adore.
In June he toured with HOLLY THROSBY and in July has more dates with MOGWAI & ANGIE HART. In recent months Ned's 'other' (and very different sounding) band CITY CITY CITY has played with TRANSAM, ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI, DEERHOOF & FOURTET.
