Perth's SNOWMAN are no exception and are the latest of these new crop of West Coast acts.
They are also the latest signing to the 'tastemaker' DOT DASH label - alongside acts like NEW BUFFALO and WOLF & CUB.
They make a beautiful, jagged, swampy, hypnotic kind of sound, that can swerve from SCOTT WALKER's dark romance to THE CRAMPS jungle fever in the blink of a mascara'd eye! They incorporate Mariachi horns and twanging guitar's like no one else!
This is their debut album.
Snowman have toured nationally, sometimes in the company of the likes of INTERPOL, THE LIARS, THE MINT CHICKS, WOLFMOTHER and REGURGITATOR... other times playing dingy bars on their lonesome.
