TRUNK are pleased to present the great lost film music of Australian composer SVEN LIBAEK, on CD for the very first time.

The recordings here were produced between 1965 and 1974 for surf and nature documentaries, including the famous '70s shark documentaries of ROD & VALERIE TAYLOR.

The music is beautiful, warm, welcoming and sounds like nothing else on earth. It's where jazz meets the shark, where waltzes meets wildfowl and longboard surfers meet a lively sea of very moody vibes an features some of Australia's best jazz musicians, such as DON BURROWS, JOHN SANGSTER & COL NOLAN.

JONNY TRUNK has watched the prices of Libaek originals escalate wildly (£200!!!!) and interest in his recordings slowly and steadily increase. Then in 2004 tracks from his legendary and rare 'Inner Space' documentary soundtrack (featured here) were dropped into WES ANDERSON's movie 'The Life Aquatic'.

Sven lives in Sydney and is still composing and working in music.
