Starting off modestly, they have introduced their hybrid live lineup of electro drums, bass, samples and vocals into leading smaller venues, and have defied the expectations of hip hop audiences in this country.
The soul element surpasses the norm for ‘aussie hip hop’ acts, and propels Lordz into a category of their own, forcing critics and fans alike to pay attention to a new sound they call ‘dirty soul hop’.
From blow out crowds in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to supporting World Famous Beat Junkie DJ SKORTKUT recently in Sydney, LOTF have played to almost all types of crowds proving their versatility and broad appeal.
Other recent shows include Peats Ridge Festival 06/07; Drum & Bass BBQ, syd; and the ‘Symptomatic’ launch tour which encompassed Bondi, Camperdown, Mona Vale, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Coolum , Fitzroy, St Kilda, Melbourne City and Geelong.They also brought the house down at the Nimbin Mardi Grass festival last month and have been invited back to rock the place again
