Bloodstone / Esthers
Ninja Tune
BEATS
"Bloodstone" begins life as a disturbing waltz, before the beat stomps all over it and the whole builds to a constantly deferred orchestral finale apparently built from tune ups.
"Esthers" plays games with the surf music tradition of including motorbike noises as basslines, though in Amon's case the surf guitar sound is filled out with an extra layer of wasps, whereas the motorbike is given the kind of bowl shaking sub-frequencies we'd expect from AMON.
