Since her debut album in 1996, Miller helped forge a path for independent Australian female singer-songwriters when such a thing barely existed. While so many have come and gone since, she has stayed her course, and her work now is as potent as ever. Her 2nd CD earned her first ARIA nomination for Best Female Artist. Her 3rd CD ‘Car Tape’ (WIFECD001) picked up three more ARIA nominations, and ‘Version Originale’ (WIFECD003) continued that tradition.
‘Morning’ is a deeply emotional record, and its themes are not the stuff of teenage abandon or adolescent whims.
