INDIE
After blowing away audiences on their national album launch tour last month, BIT BY BATS will play a special show at Melbourne’s newest indie night US vs THEM on Friday 8 June.
Bit By Bats will be supported by euro-disco five-piece Worlds End Press, lo-fi indie popsters Big Cats and new kids on the block Kenny Cornflakes at US vs THEM, which is held at Roxanne in Melbourne city.
The Melbourne three-piece will also make their way up north to Brisbane the following day, performing at the Pauhaus Festival on Saturday 9 June, alongside The Grates, The Panics, Expatriate and more.
Bit By Bats played a string of album launches across the country last month, including sold out shows in Perth and Adelaide, to launch their debut album ‘Go Go Go!’ Recorded at Birdland Studios with Dean Turner (Magic Dirt) and Lindsay Gravina,
‘Go Go Go!’ is a garage frenzy of post-punk riffs, throbbing vocals and raw energy.
Bit By Bats have forged a strong reputation in the indie-rock scene, with their compelling live shows and distinctive sound.
Over the past two years Bit By Bats have released two EPs, toured constantly with the likes of Cut Copy, The Grates, Bloc Party, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Les Savy Fav, Peaches and The Kills, and performed at 2006 Big Day Out Festivals across the country.
