This album reminds us of everything we love about Galaxie 500, Neil Young and Mercury Rev (check out the sonic guitar sound on Jesus) It was self-recorded in a venue in North Carolina ’The Grey Eagle’ on nights it was closed. The venue is an old school bus repair shop, as by coincidence, is the current venue they are using to mix the second album (due later in the year).
