“Sirens” is the first taste of DIZZEE RASCAL’s new album ‘Maths & English’ (due for release June 2) and is a massive sounding return for the boy from London.
Written by Dizzee and produced by CAGE and field tested on humans at the Reading and Leeds festival last year to great acclaim, “Sirens” is huge, with thunderous guitar riffs and a pounding drum beat.
It’s a statement of intent and a classic sounding hip-hop tune – think JAY Z’s “99 Problems” or N.W.A’s “Straight Outta Compton.”
Lyrically, “Sirens” shows Dizzee at his most political, addressing violent street crime, and also his rebellious best.
Sirens is already on rotation at JJJ, Ch V, MTV and various indie stations nationally!
