Ratatat are a fairly strange band - there can’t be too many other instrumental rock groups who’ve enjoyed the sort of exposure and success these guys have (touring with The Killers, Interpol and Franz Ferdinand for a start). Undeniably great at what they do they balance Strokes-y guitars with electronic production in just the right proportions. Over on the flip ERock provides a swish 4/4 electronica remix of ‘Kennedy’ which works a treat, plus there’s the more gentle, even playful B-side ‘Goose’ to suck you in.
