I Predict A Riot

HIP HOP
HEZEKIAH is what you get when you mix a Delaware-raised former choirboy and preteen Funk singer with a diehard DIY Hip Hop head who cites Country music, QUINCY JONES and KOOL G. RAP as influences in the same breath...
Born into a musical family, and raised just outside of Philadelphia, Hezekiah got his chops at an early age, belting out God’s greatest hits at his family’s church, and before long was singing in his Uncle’s band, the FUNK DISCIPLES (who dropped some super hard-to-find wax in the mid 70’s).
Fast forward to 2007, two years after Hezekiah’s exceptional debut ‘Hurry Up And Wait’, the Philly-based MC/producer returns with another dose of true-school lyricism and soulful boom-bap on ‘I Predict A Riot’. Largely self-produced, ‘I Predict A Riot’ fuses the best elements of hip hop and neo-soul. The co-creator of Beat Society Live incorporates supplementary beatwork from ODDISEE, ANTHONY ACCURATE, FRED KENNY, and VEGAN PORK GRIND as well as guest appearances from FREEWAY, Grammy Award winning BILAL, JAMAL, JAGUAR WRIGHT, and CHIEF KAMACHI, among others - guaranteed to make a lasting impression on the music community.
