The return of early ‘90s UK dance heroes SPOOKY! With the re-release of their classic LP ‘Gargantuan’ (SPOOKYCD001) to widespread critical acclaim earlier this year Spooky have paved the way to release their new LP ‘Open’. Released through their own imprint spooky.uk.com which has been gaining worldwide support and respect since its inception last year.
Featuring the lush vocals of JULIE DASKE who first teamed up with Spooky for the single “Belong” and also the amazing CELESTINE WALCOTT – GORDON – ‘Open’ is a perfectly produced chill-out CD that equals the best work of WILLIAM ORBIT & LAMB.
Spooky are also currently working with SASHA on his new ‘Global Underground Involver 2’ CD. Sasha is one of Spooky’s biggest fans and he has frequently called them his favourite collaborator. “Expander” by Sasha was originally a Spooky tune and Charlie May co-wrote and produced Sasha’s artist album ‘Airdrawndagger’. Spooky toured throughout last year with Sasha and have been building their following all over the world.
