UBERZONE is the musical alter-ego of southern California native Q and is one of the pioneers of the ‘West Coast Breaks Sound’ along with the likes of THE CRYSTAL METHOD that went on to help shape the breaks sound that went global in a big way. It’s been five years since his debut album and after finally finding time to get back in the studio the don of US Breaks is now set to release his sophomore album ‘Ideology’ on FUNCTIONAL RECORDS.
‘Ideology’ is the perfect indication of how the Breakbrat sound has evolved, using a much broader palate of sounds and tempos. These songs not only rock the dance floor, but they also make for an intriguing sonic ride. Uberzone has created the ultimate club and chill record, traversing an entire sonic and emotional spectrum.
