‘This Fool Can Die Now’ was recorded at Electrical Audio with Steve Albini. With Wil Oldham (aka Bonie ‘Prince’ Bily ) contributing vocals on the album’s four duets. Two of the duets are covers: Van Morison’s 1974 celtic soul gem “Comfort You” and Hollywood classic “River Of No Return”, (sung by Marilyn Monroe in Some like It Hot).
The album features a rhythm section of Kristian Godard and Chris Saligoe. ‘This Fool Can Die Now’ is a body of 14 songs that traverse a spectrum of charged emotions from yearning and grief to resignation and acceptance.
