The incredible third album from HOSPITAL’s original D&B prodigy is finally upon us. It’s been a long and varied journey since the release of his debut back in 2002, which breathed new life into dnb (and sold very well in Australia!), a whole heap of producers have come and gone, whilst others have taken direct influence from his lead. ‘High Society’, his second album proved he was still on point with anthems such as ‘Racing Green’ and ‘Basement Track’.
‘Tough Guys Don’t Dance’ shows why he has become the D&B producer that even people who dont like dnb listen to; Missy EllioTt, White Stripes, Blaze and Basement Jaxx have all been remixed by him, each of these versions finding favour with Radio 1 dj’s as have two of the singles taken from this album so far ‘If We Ever’ and ‘In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida’ (yes a cover of that track!).
