The NEW release from WHITE MAGIC is the “DARK STARS” EP, out now on Drag City. The “Dark Stars” EP is succinct and has a more immediate sound than the sprawling landscape and detail of its predecessor DAT ROSA MEL APIBUS, yet still captures the same spirit of depth and exaltation.
White Magic worked with Tim Dewit (Gang Gang Dance) to produce “Dark Stars” and specifically the second track “Very Late,” where he lent his refined and innovative ear.
“Dark Stars” is a new and concise direction for White Magic, deeply rooted in the knowledge gained from previous explorations of the unknown. (Feat. Dirty 3’s Jim White on drums!)
