THE BLACK LIPS are a garage punk rock band from Atlanta Georgia & this is their 5th official album, their 2nd on NYC’s hipster label VICE Records & their 1st on the cracking ETCH n’ SKETCH label locally.
They’ve been touring the states with the likes of the new cool kids DEERHUNTER, NO AGE & the YEAH YEAH YEAH’s etc…& have a reputation for crazy live shows that have included everything from nudity, band members kissing, fondling, fireworks and chickens on stage.
The band have are touring in a few weeks, at MEREDITH MUSIC FESTIVAL 15th of DEC and doing their own headline dates at OXFORD ART FACTORY SYD 18th Dec, THE ARTHOUSE MELB 19th Dec, THE TOTE MELB 21st Dec
