Joe Lally has played bass in Fugazi since the band’s inception in 1987. In 2003 the members of Fugazi decided to take an indefinite hiatus from recording and performing. Since then Joe has continued to write and perform new material both solo and in collaboration with various musicians and friends.

Joe’s first album was released in October 2006 and, like this new album ‘Nothing is Underrated’, ‘There To Here’ also featured guest performances from Fugazi-mates Ian Mackaye, Guy Picciotto and Jerry Busher as well as many others.

Joe will be touring internationally, in 2007 and 2008, including dates in the USA, Japan, Europe and more.
