LTM is proud to announce the release of four expanded CDs by THE DURUTTI COLUMN, the legendary FACTORY RECORDS act formed by virtuoso guitarist/composer VINI REILLY.
‘Circuses & Bread’ was originally released by the Factory Benelux label in April 1986, and features ten tracks written and performed by Reilly, together with drummer Bruce Mitchell.
This expanded edition also features ten bonus tracks, including compilation album tracks and five previously unreleased tracks from the cancelled 1983 album ‘Short Stories For Pauline’. The bonus cuts also include the rarely heard 1983 single ‘I Get Along Without You Very Well’, a Hoagy Carmichael cover sung by Lindsay Reade and dedicated to her former husband, the late ANTHONY H. WILSON (Factory Records founder and Durutti Column manager). The booklet restores the original cover design by 8vo.
