The Dirtbombs were formed by Mick Collins (of the influential garage rock band The Gories) as a side project and started recording songs in 1995. As of September 2007 the band are onto their 17th and longest-lasting lineup!!
The new album features the raw, double-drum big beat mixture of soul/punk/garage/r&b the Dirtbombs are famous for.
There’s a few covers (Dead Moon’s “Fire In The Western World” and Sparks’ “Sherlock Holmes”) and loads of cool new originals.
