The 27 tracks on SOLVENT’s “Demonstration Tape (1997-2007)” document all the ‘hits’ of the past decade, some of which are long out of print, as well as introduce three previously unreleased songs + Solvent’s latest vocoder pop track & recent live-set favorite, “In Light” + 4 Remixes (1 of which is by ADULT).
Also included are several examples Solvent’s exemplary vocoder- synthpop sound, like “For You”, “Wish”, & (of course) Solvent’s signature song, “My Radio”, still a dance-floor staple everywhere from techno clubs in Ibiza, to goth clubs from Berlin to Brisbane. Far from being an actual demo, the album is sure to please Solvent fans, new and old alike.
Solvent recently finished a series of tours opening for VNV NATION (the biggest name in today’s EBM/Gothic scene).
